Matthias Hupe completed his computer science study for a Bachelor of Science at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. As part of his thesis he dealt with the possibilities of business process mapping and implementation with Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint technologies.

And though he remained faithful to this area and has implemented various business processes, e.g. applications for leave, procurement management processes etc.

Since 2008, Matthias Hupe is a member of the Layer2 Business Management.
