Stonebond's
Enterprise Enabler for SharePoint Business Data List Connector comes with a rich-client easy to use interface to select, relate, transform and map ANY data source in the enterprise resulting in a simple virtual ADO.NET based record set. This record set can be connected to any existing SharePoint list, e.g. contacts, tasks or events using Stonebond's .NET Connectivity Driver as an additional provider for the Business Data List Connector. You simply have to enter connection string and select statement to connect your modeled record to any existing SharePoint list. All list features are available, e.g. notifications and workflows on data change and full write back (CRUD).

Stonebond's
Enterprise Enabler for SharePoint Business Data List Connector adds the following features and benefits to the
SharePoint Business Data List Connector:
- Easy-to-use codeless drag-and-drop graphical user interface:
As a next-generation data analyst’s assistant, Enterprise Enabler has a rich-client easy-to-use graphical user interface that guides the analyst through data selection and building business rules, notifications, special run time error handling, and many other functions all in a drag-and-drop manner. The connector debugs architects and constructs the appropriate reusable integration components behind the scenes as the design is underway. Programming is unnecessary - but possibly without any limitations in C# and VB.NET. The same environment is used to test and deploy the connectivity. No staging system required.
- Connectivity to ANY system in the enterprise:
While Business Data List Connector comes with ODBC/OLEDB/.NET-based connectivity to widely used data sources out-of-the-box, Enterprise Enabler provides additional connectivity features to systems such as Web Services, XML, EDI, HL7, Virtual Store, Microsoft .Net Objects, COM+ Objects, MS Dynamics CRM, MS Dynamics AX, SAP, Salesforce, Journyx, Quickbooks, PeachTree, and other.
- Advanced mapping features and virtual relationships across multiple backend systems:
Relationships can be built between different data sources; data filtering and cleansing can be configured from within the client. Then, the metadata can be graphically mapped to or from other applications or data stores, providing semantic alignment of data across multiple applications. In other words, if you have data coming from a web service, some from a spreadsheet, and other data from a database, you can define relationships and mapping, as complex as needed, and the adapter will resolve them at run time when the data is transferred.
- Bi-directional data-integration:
Stone Bond’s Enterprise Enabler allows creating bi-directional data connections. That means you can optionally modify backend data directly using SharePoint lists, if required.
- Microsoft .Net Framework based re-usability:
Stone Bond’s Enterprise Enabler is built on the Microsoft .Net Framework and leverages all the features and enhancements of the Framework. In addition, EE supports the reuse of any libraries written in .net/com outside of the adapter, so that they become reusable components accessible through the standard adapter development environment.
